Athletic Clearance
Athletic Clearance is the first step to becoming a student-athlete at Rancho Alamitos High School. The process must be completed every school year. The clearance packet can be picked up during school hours from the athletic office, located in the main office of the school. Complete all the required information and return your packet to your oach or the athletic office. Students will not be allowed to participate in practice or games until all clearance items are completed and returned. Please contact the athletic office at 714-663-6302 if you have questions. Requirements for Athletic Clearance - 2.00 GPA: In all classes attempted during the previous grading period.
- Physical Exam: Good for one calendar year from the date of the exam.
- Proof of Medical Insurance: Insurance may be purchased if student is not currently covered.
- Athletic Emergency Card: Contact information in case of emergency
- GGUSD Athletic code: Must be read and signed by the student and parents.
- Proof of Residence: CIF requires that all student-athletes live within the Rancho Alamitos High School attendance area or meet all CIF rules regarding transfer eligibility
- Acknowledgement of Risk: Parent and student must come to the office to sign the form in the presence of a school official. This form must be completed only one time in a student’s athletic career at Rancho.
- ASB or Super Vaq Card: All student-athletes should purchase an ASB or Super Vaq card.
Please scroll down this page to open the clearance documents. Print forms 1-6 in your language of preference and return the forms to the Rancho Alamitos High School front office. You can sign the Acknowledgement of Risk form when you turn in these forms.
